We’re just over a week away from Halloween, so it is officially time to start planning what costume you want to wear. This week’s Fandom 5 is about those characters we want to dress as this October 31. While I haven’t officially landed on a costume this year, I’ve got a few ideas mulling around in my brain. Some of my ideas are more serious costumes, some are simpler costumes that can be pulled together easily and are generally work appropriate. We’ll see what I actually end up doing, but here are my top choices for this Halloween:
While I don’t think Arsenal is my favorite Arrow character (both this incarnation of Arsenal and the previous), Arsenal most definitely has my favorite costume on the show. I’ve wanted to dress up in an Arsenal get up for quite some time now. Maybe this Halloween is the right time…
She’s not only the mother of dragons, but Dany has gone some pretty killer style. Really, the toughest part of dressing like Dany wouldn’t be the hair or the dragons, but it would be picking which of her outfits to emulate.
Let’s be honest, I’m lazy and a procrastinator. Dressing up as Charlie from her time in Dick Roman’s IT department might be right up my alley. Of course, if I want to get fancier but still stick with the Charlie theme I could try one of these…
It would take more effort, but it might be kind of awesome to be video game Charlie or Queen of Moons Charlie. I could even get Hubster to dress up as Dean…
Jen Barber and the Internet
This is another easy one, but it would be a fun costume to wear. It’d also be so normal looking, referencing such an obscure thing that it’d be much more suited for comic con than a Halloween party. Still, can you imagine how impressed everyone would be if I actually brought The Internet to a party?
Liz Lemon and Her Schedule
I relate wayyyyy too well to Liz Lemon on so many things, and one those areas is her appreciation of a slick, color-coded schedule. Mommy like, indeed. Plus, a bonus of this costume is that while I could make a mock TGS schedule as my costume accessory, I could also choose to kill two birds with one stone, making a great costume and accessorizing it with a real, functional schedule of my own. #bonus
